Sorry but I do not know why you mention Simple Machines Forum as it does not seem related.I dont use VPN, I dont even know how VPN works to active it. I am still working on Simple Machine Forum smoothly. with joomla, it requires Crowdin Enterprise to access, not publishing as SMF is doing
VPN = Virtual Private Network, which is a method to create internet connections from other IPs/countries and it sometimes works well to use for testing network issues.
I don't have Crowdin Enterprise myself. Maybe you need to create a new account at https://joomla.crowdin.com/cms to use it, but you should not have to pay for an Enterprise account.
